Classic Beef Sliders are a delicious and fun way to eat hamburgers. Pile them high with your favorite toppings, try new flavor combinations, and like potato chips, you can’t have just one. Use Napoleon’s Gourmet Slider Maker to press your own perfectly proportioned patty. For added deliciousness, don’t forget to brush the buns with butter and grill them up nice and toasty before serving.

Classic Beef Sliders

Serves: 4 - Makes 12       Total Time: 40 Minutes

Ingredients

  • ¾ pound ground chuck
  • ¾ pound ground sirloin
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp. Club House La Grille Steakhouse Onion Burger Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp. Bone Dust BBQ Seasoning
  • 12 slider buns, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter for brushing buns
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained, and broken into 2–inch pieces
  • your favorite toppings and condiments for serving

Directions

Step 1
Get the meat as cold as you can without freezing it before mixing it with the garlic, Steakhouse Onion Burger Seasoning, salt, pepper, and Bone Dust. Using the Napoleon Gourmet Slider Maker, place around 2 ounces of meat into the base and use the handle to press down, forming perfect patties. Use the removable base with handle to lift the sliders out of the mold and slide them onto some waiting waxed paper. Repeat until all of the meat has been used up.
Step 2
Chill the sliders in the refrigerator for 20 minutes up to overnight.
Step 3
Preheat your grill to between 450°F and 500°F. Cut the buns and brush them with melted butter.
Step 4
Grill the sliders over direct heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side. While the sliders are grilling, toast the buns over direct heat as well. Serve the sliders hot, topped with bacon and your favorite toppings.

Originally grilled in June of 2011, these Classic Beef Sliders are an easy little meal. They’re more fun than big burgers because you can dress them in several different flavor combinations. Make your meal a theme night by going Greek or Mexican, try something spicy or go fancy with a fried quail’s egg. How do you dress your sliders?

Happy Grilling!
