Tunisian Smoked Lamb

Tunisian Smoked Lamb

with Garlic Yogurt Sauce

Posted on May 25, 2016
Tunisian Smoked Lamb with Garlic Yogurt Sauce is spicy and exotic. The smoky flavor transforms this dish, bringing you back to the days when food was cooked over an open flame. My grandparents love visiting Tunisia and rave about the food and the décor every time they come back. I thought it was time to visit myself, but settled on making a grilled dish similar to what you would find in a Tunisian household instead of taking a flight. You’ll be transported too when you try this dish!

Easy Side Ribs

Easy Side Ribs

With Simple BBQ Sauce

Posted on May 10, 2016
Cooking for a crowd isn’t easy. When I decided to celebrate Mother’s Day with my husband’s family, I decided we needed to kick off barbecue season too. These Easy Side Ribs With Simple BBQ Sauce will tickle your mom's ribs! They were easy enough to get that smoky deliciousness, and fast enough that we were serving dinner by 4 pm. The simple sauce was sticky sweet and ideal for pork ribs.

Steakhouse Top Sirloin Roast

Steakhouse Top Sirloin Roast

Done to perfection

Posted on April 21, 2016
Steakhouse Top Sirloin Roast is a supremely simple dinner to make. With only a few ingredients, and a set and forget style of grilling, it frees you up to do more important things while you’re waiting. I had this beautiful roast, moderately expensive cut, well marbled, but ultimately I was unsure what I wanted to do with it. Thank goodness I happened to have a bevy of La Grille Seasonings and Rubs for just this occasion! What could have been an ingredient leaden recipe became something simple and just as flavorful. The trick was to grill it to perfection.

Vanilla Bourbon Pecan Butter

Vanilla Bourbon Pecan Butter

With Fire Roasted Pecans

Posted on April 07, 2016
I love pecans, so when I heard that they have their very own day - April 14th by the way; I just had to make some extra recipes to celebrate. I generally have peanut butter in the house for making Peanut Butter Banana Bread and Peanut Butter BBQ Sauce, but it got me thinking...What if you made peanut butter out of pecans instead of peanuts?? After some research, and a little innovation, I grilled up some pecans and turned them into Vanilla Bourbon Pecan Butter. The deep nutty tone is slightly sweet, and super perfect for just about everything you would want a nut butter for! Do you want to know the best part? It takes NO time at all to make!

Mint Chocolate Cake

Mint Chocolate Cake

With Dark Chocolate & Thin Mints

Posted on March 31, 2016
This Mint Chocolate Cake was supposed to be for a birthday, but was nearly two weeks late due to a lack of kitchen (long and funny story). The wait was worth it! Imagine biting into a dense and moist cake that is perfectly chocolaty, discovering bits of minty cookie and then luscious hints of dark chocolate. That’s what this cake is like. I didn’t think that it would be big enough for my husband and I to enjoy for more than a few days. (You know we’re intense chocoholics) This cake? It lasted us over a week, and that’s with sharing over half of it with friends! You will love this chocolate cake; especially if you’re a fan of mint and chocolate together.
