Chicken Mole

Chicken Mole

On The Grill

Posted on May 02, 2017
This year for Cinco De Mayo, I wanted to grill up something a little more authentic than the usual enchiladas and tacos. Chicken Mole On The Grill is spicy, thick, and definitely different. The dried pepper based sauce is full of chocolate, tomato, and chicken stock, making for a delicious addition to any Cinco De Menu

Grill Baked Pierogies

Grill Baked Pierogies

with Lamb and Vodka Cream Sauce

Posted on October 12, 2016
I have been itching to do this recipe for some time, however Grill Baked Pierogies with Lamb and Vodka Cream Sauce just never seemed to make it onto my weekly schedule of things to cook. Until now. My friend Jeffrey, gave me the base recipe and said that I should “go to town” with regards to meat and sauce choices. When I brought him the leftovers he polished them off with delight, saying that I had made them even better than he usually does. This from the man who made this pierogie recipe into an art form. I recommend eating this meal on your cheat day because, trust me, you’re going to want to eat a lot of it.

Five Cheese Pizza

Five Cheese Pizza

With Stuffed Crust

Posted on September 08, 2016
Five Cheese Pizza With Stuffed Crust is a heavenly delight that was perfect for celebrating National Cheese Pizza Day on September 5th. Imagine a perfectly baked crust, slathered in garlic butter, and stuffed with stringy mozzarella. Top that with a delicious tomato sauce, followed by mountains of cheddar, Monterey jack, and Havarti cheese. Medallions of fresh mozzarella grace the surface of this cheese mountain, while fresh garlic and parsley falls like snow. Finally, after baking to a bubbly perfection, this masterpiece of cheese and dough is ready for the finishing touch of perfectly fresh parmesan cheese.

With Maple Mustard Glaze

Posted on February 03, 2016
Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites With Maple Mustard Glaze are an easy game day snack, or party treat. Make a lot though because they disappear fast once they hit the table. These are easy to prep ahead of time and pull out of the freezer for an event as well. Become the hero of the next tailgate (or Homegate) when you whip these up. Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites With Maple Mustard Glaze have it all. Sweet, salty, bacon-y, smoky flavors caressing your tongue with every bite. It won't matter if your team loses if you serve these.

Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice

Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice

Mmmm tasty

Posted on January 13, 2016
I had pulled chicken thighs with the intention of making Spicy Rice with Chicken instead of Haddock. The husband wasn't feeling it at all that night, so I cast about the kitchen looking for something else to make. Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice sort of leapt out of the pantry at me. The ingredients list was relatively similar, with some slight modification, but it was generally where I was going for dinner. It turned out pretty dang delicious too.

Grilled S'mores Poutine

Grilled S'mores Poutine

Even better than it sounds

Posted on August 12, 2015
While eating dinner at my Grandparents' home, we were discussing different kinds of poutine. Then, out of nowhere, Grilled S'mores Poutine just kind of popped out of our mouths. The idea snowballed until we couldn't contain it any longer. But why would we want to? Graham cookie "fries" topped with marshmallow "cheese curds" and topped with chocolate ganache "gravy"? I have chills just typing about it. This will be a hit the next time you have a sleepover I can guarantee.

Asian Beef Tenderloin

Asian Beef Tenderloin

With Tempura Onions And Gyoza Sauce

Posted on August 05, 2015
This is the recipe for my first ever video recipe. Asian Beef Tenderloin With Tempura Onions And Gyoza Sauce, it's elegant, yet easy. And boy does it taste good too. The beef nearly melts in your mouth, and the tartness from the sauce makes it sing. The Tempura Onions are a nice crunchy offset to the tender beef. All in all a very successful meal. You need to try it yourself. Video equipment and crew not required.

Salmon Teriyaki

Salmon Teriyaki

On The Grill

Posted on August 05, 2015
I need to eat more seafood. That's a fact. Salmon is still my favorite fish. It's meaty and hearty, fills you up. Being in a mood for Japanese one night, I decided to make Salmon Teriyaki On The Grill. It turned out fantastic. Paired with Vegetable Tempura, we had a meal made in grilling heaven.
