In the height of summer I am always looking for ways to take my favorite savory dishes and make them feel more seasonal. Sweet, once again, sends pork to a new level of flavor heaven in this recipe This Tea Marinated Pork Loin Roast with White Nectarines takes the spirit of summer and infuses it into an exquisite roast. The best part about this whole thing was that I set the marinade, which looks so pretty, and left for the day to help a friend move. When I came home, I just threw the pork onto a preheated grill for 45 minutes and dinner was pretty much ready.

I made Easter Dinner last week so that you were good and prepared. But it also happened to be Passover on April the 3rd of 2015. As a food blogger, I feel that it's my duty to make food that represents all people and cultures, and pay respect to the food they eat and why it's eaten. I made this Lemon Rosemary Chicken With Honey Basil Roast Carrots for Passover, and hopefully I did this right. 

 

Now I was supposed to make a roasted chicken for this meal, however when I opened the packaging, I discovered that my beautiful, properly prepared, kosher, organic, chicken had gone rancid! Such as the case, we had to improvise. Lucky for us, there were some chicken breasts in the freezer. I can't guarantee that they were prepared in the proper fashion, but we made do with what we had. The rest of the meal I was careful. I did not mix dairy with meat at all, nor did I incorporate flour or leavening agents into the meal. So all in all, aside from the chicken and my camera battery dying, I believe this was a success.
