Red Wine Chocolate Cake with Wine Soaked Berries, Red Wine Ganache, and Creamy Frosting is a mouthful, both to say and to eat. This double layer cake is rich with a light frosting to compliment the dark flavors. This cake was at once dense and deep, while light and tart, the cream frosting tying everything together nicely. I made this recipe gluten free so that a friend could enjoy it with us, and you couldn’t even tell that it was. If you want to celebrate spring, add this recipe to your menu, you won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the way the green beans turned out in my recipe for Maple Glazed Duck Breasts. Adding bacon seemed like a logical next step. And even better, I had the Peppercorn and Maple Bacon that I recently made. Green Beans With Bacon, Butter & Maple turned out to be a fantastic side to go with Thanksgiving Dinner. Even better, this recipe is also gluten free, making it a great side dish if you have guests with dietary needs.
