BBQ Glazed Ham

BBQ Glazed Ham

with Smoked Honey and Dijon

Posted on October 03, 2017

BBQ Glazed Ham with Smoked Honey and Dijon was originally made as an easy Easter Dinner in 2015, however, I chose to break with tradition and make this for Thanksgiving dinner this year. Little prep time for this meal means that it’s easy to get going while you work on more labor-intensive dishes, or enjoy time with your family. This time, I tried using the rotisserie instead of placing the ham onto a baking sheet. The end result was a ham that was shiny and flavorful on every side. Caramelized crispy bits mingled nicely with a sticky outside and the salty ham inside. Smoked honey adds a new dimension of flavor that is very subtle, lending itself immediately to the flavor of the ham.

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Glazed pork goodness

Originally served in the summer of 2011, this pork dish was an instant hit with my family. It even encouraged leftover eating straight from the container! I have said many times that there is nothing better than sweet paired with pork, and this recipe for Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin proves just that.

Maple Garlic Chicken

Maple Garlic Chicken

Sweet, Sticky, Garlicky!

Posted on July 10, 2017
Maple Garlic Chicken is delicious. Super garlicky, sweet, and sticky. It goes great with just about anything you can think of to serve with it. A fresh salad with a tart and vinegary dressing pairs well, so do roasted potatoes, all salty and crisp.  This recipe is great for any chicken cut, from drumsticks to thighs, whole legs, and even breasts. Just remember to keep that skin on, because that is where the flavor is at.

Thai Peanut Pork Tenderloin

Thai Peanut Pork Tenderloin

Simple and savory

Posted on September 08, 2016
I really needed to do something different with the pork tenderloin I pulled out for dinner. Thai Peanut Pork Tenderloin really broke this tenderloin out of the rut it was in and created a beautiful meal. The fresh juices in the recipe created a unique taste that I found completely unexpected. This recipe is definitely being made again. And Soon!

Rotisserie Prime Rib

Rotisserie Prime Rib

With Basil Garlic Baste

Posted on April 22, 2015
April 26th is National Prime Rib Day. What an excellent excuse to indulge and make yourself some Rotisserie Prime Rib With Basil Garlic Baste. Prime Rib is not the least expensive in the world, so having a holiday where you can indulge without feeling bad about it is flipping fantastic. I paired this aromatic crusted, melt in your mouth, beefiness with my favorite potato dish, Potato Galette, and served it with amazing gravy made from the pan drippings.

Chicken Skewers

Chicken Skewers

With Balsamic Baste

Posted on March 04, 2015
Straight from the pantry and on to your plate, these Chicken Skewers With Balsamic Baste are simple and simply delicious. Served on a bed of wild, whole grain rice, with your favorite vegetables, this simple meal is easily thrown together. I was in a pinch, tired and grumpy, I needed something tasty for dinner, not boring old chicken...again. I sifted through the pantry and grabbed a few things that sounded good. Found some skewers hiding in there too and thought "why not?". And this is what happened next.

Kebabs On The Rotisserie

Posted on November 04, 2014

Rotiss-kebabs - Kebabs On The Rotisserie, you asked and shall receive! What better way to introduce a nifty accessory than with a nifty recipe too! This recipe for Kebabs On The Rotisserie is super simple and will please everyone. Customize your meal, and everyone else's. Just provide some marinated meat and chopped veggies and let your family and guests do all the work! I used the Szechwan Sauce from Szechuan Smoked Ribs On The Apollo for this recipe, but feel free to use your own favorite. I used the Napoleon Rotisserie Shish Kebab Wheel  for this. It evenly cooked the food and provided easy access for basting. It's also a fantastic conversation piece. Definitely a must have if you've got a rotisserie kit for your grill.
