Vegetable Tempura On The Grill

Vegetable Tempura On The Grill

With Fresh Dipping Sauce

Posted on August 05, 2015
After making tempura battered onion rings for the Asian Tenderloin recipe, I needed to find out what else I could tempura-ize. Vegetable Tempura On The Grill was easier than you would think and super fun to serve with dinner. We ate this with Salmon Teriyaki for a complete meal and it was an amazing Asian themed dinner off the grill.

Double Thick Apple Smoked Pork Chops

Double Thick Apple Smoked Pork Chops

With Asparagus And Crispy Potatoes

Posted on July 07, 2015
Double Thick Apple Smoked Pork Chops With Asparagus And Crispy Potatoes are a complicated sounding meal, that looks simple once plated. If you serve them with a little dollop of apple sauce to finish it off, then you're really sailing. The sweet smokiness of the pork is offset by the simple seasoning and searing. Paired with the simple veg, you have a meal made in heaven.

Goat Cheese Pasta

Goat Cheese Pasta

With Bacon And Grilled Asparagus

Posted on July 07, 2015
Left to my own devices one evening, I had nothing planned for dinner,  and nothing but scraps in the fridge. It sounds like I never have any groceries, I swear I do! Anyway, that is where this all started. Goat Cheese Pasta With Bacon And Grilled Asparagus is a conglomeration of my craving that evening, and what I happened to have left over after making Stuffed Bison Burgers and Goat Cheese Vanilla Ice Cream. I love grilled asparagus, and I love bacon, so adding the two of them to a creamy pasta sauce was a no brainer. I hope you enjoy this easy and pretty quick gourmet meal as much as I did.

Eggs Benedict With Asparagus Wrapped In Prosciutto

Eggs Benedict With Asparagus Wrapped In Prosciutto

And Sourdough Toast

Posted on April 14, 2015
April 16th is National Eggs Benedict Day, so you need to eat something eggsy and smothered in hollandaise sauce. May I suggest Eggs Benedict With Asparagus Wrapped In Prosciutto And Sourdough Toast? Perhaps I should demand you make this. Or any of these recipes too. This decadent and filling food had a fantastic balance of salty and creamy, the juicy asparagus had just the tiniest crunch to it and the sourdough toast just makes everything magical.

Hollandaise Alfredo Pasta

Hollandaise Alfredo Pasta

With Grilled Chicken And Vegetables

Posted on April 14, 2015
In honor of National Eggs Benedict Day on April 16th, I made Hollandaise Alfredo With Grilled Chicken And Vegetables to use up the remaining (GASP!) hollandaise sauce. Once you get over your shock that I could have possibly left hollandaise sauce after Benedict for breakfast, you can revel in the absolute audacity that I have put it into a cream sauce for a pasta dinner. Then you will think that I am a sheer genius. Then, you will make this and collapse into your seat from the outright amazingness of the flavor. Am I done? Hardly. You gotta try this!

Grilled Vegetable Wraps

Grilled Vegetable Wraps

Like a burrito only better

Posted on March 25, 2015
Having recently discovered the joys of Panera (a sandwich restaurant chain) I've been slightly inspired to make delicious grilled sandwiches. Thing is, the weather needs to be a little bit warmer. Just a little. For my vegetarian grilling class, I decided that Grilled Vegetable Wraps in the style of a panini were in order. Like the Grilled Vegetable Quesadillas, these wraps are stuffed to overflowing with delicious vegetables, different cheeses and super awesome Thai Chili Guacamole

Skillet Baked Red Wine Steak

Skillet Baked Red Wine Steak

With Exotic Mushrooms And Asparagus

Posted on March 03, 2015
As a grill blogger, I tend to feed the people in the office when I am not feeding my husband. People tend to share the joy by sharing their favorite recipes with me. This is one such recipe. My friend Jeffrey sent me an email with this recipe nestled inside, and I must say that this Skillet Baked Red Wine Steak was so good, I accidentally only got one good shot of it... on my second time making it. Thanks for the amazing recipe Jeffrey!

Dry Aged, Wet Rubbed NY Strip Steaks

Dry Aged, Wet Rubbed NY Strip Steaks

Grilled To Perfection

Posted on December 02, 2014
Imagine, if you will, slicing into a Dry Aged, Wet Rubbed NY Strip Steak, grilled to perfection over high heat and flame. It was rubbed in a wet rub and allowed to soak in that flavour before being kissed by flame and served over a bed of grilled asparagus.
