Grilled French Toast

Grilled French Toast

with Cinnamon Sugar Walnuts

Posted on June 08, 2016
Grilled French Toast with Cinnamon Sugar Walnuts is the perfect weekend breakfast. Using a sturdy loaf of Italian Style Bread, like COBS Bread Pane di Casa, is ideal. The thin, yet crispy crust holding the fluffiest bread imaginable is superb for grilling directly on your cooking grids. The resulting slightly smoky, sweet, bread-pudding-like texture is what French toast is all about. I added some Cinnamon Sugar Walnuts and then yelled, “Bring on the Maple Syrup”!

Perfect Apple Pie On The Grill

Perfect Apple Pie On The Grill

On The Grill

There are three reasons to make apple pie around this time of year. One – because it’s always time for pie. Two – because who doesn’t want Perfect Apple Pie On The Grill for Mother’s Day, I know my mother did. And Three – It makes a delightful breakfast (yes breakfast!) when served with frozen yogurt and a little maple syrup.

Vanilla Bourbon Pecan Butter

Vanilla Bourbon Pecan Butter

With Fire Roasted Pecans

Posted on April 07, 2016
I love pecans, so when I heard that they have their very own day - April 14th by the way; I just had to make some extra recipes to celebrate. I generally have peanut butter in the house for making Peanut Butter Banana Bread and Peanut Butter BBQ Sauce, but it got me thinking...What if you made peanut butter out of pecans instead of peanuts?? After some research, and a little innovation, I grilled up some pecans and turned them into Vanilla Bourbon Pecan Butter. The deep nutty tone is slightly sweet, and super perfect for just about everything you would want a nut butter for! Do you want to know the best part? It takes NO time at all to make!

Cinnamon Marinated Chicken Breasts

Cinnamon Marinated Chicken Breasts

On The Grill

Posted on November 11, 2014

After the most amazing success of the Honey Buttered Chicken Thighs (Exclusive Recipe Club recipe), I wanted to recapture the feeling and deliciousness in a meal for myself at home too. So, I threw a bunch of yummy sounding ingredients in a dish and marinated the chicken. What we ended up with was a sweet and tangy chicken dinner, chock full of veggies and chicken that had this lovely, partially caramelized, exterior.
