Ghost Pepper Buffalo Sauce

Ghost Pepper Buffalo Sauce

Very Tasty And Hot

Posted on January 08, 2015
It's time for my annual hot sauce, and this year I made Ghost Pepper Buffalo Sauce for all those hot heads that love my cooking. It began that I was going to just make homemade Buffalo Sauce for my favorite people over the holidays, but my cousin requested that I make more of that Ghost Pepper Salsa for the family Christmas dinner. How could I refuse? It turned out that I had a few ghost peppers left over and thought... well why the heck not?

Sweet Heat Roasted Squash Seeds

Sweet Heat Roasted Squash Seeds

Great Tasting Source Of Protein

Posted on November 25, 2014
Sweet Heat Roasted Squash Seeds are a fantastic source of meatless protein, they go great as a snack on their own, or you can toss them into your favorite trail mix or granola for some added umph. I was making Butternut Squash and Curry Soup and had all these seeds. It felt so wrong to just throw them away, so I decided that I needed to make something with them. I just rummaged through the spice rack and grabbed what sounded like it would go best.

Spinach, Cream Cheese & Sausage Stuffed Pasta Shells have the best of all worlds. Garlic-y pasta sauce, creamy and melty cheese, pasta, and meat! Oh all right. I guess we can throw in some vegetables too. Throw it all together and bake it on the grill and you have an exciting meal that everyone will love.

Grilled Pumpkin Granola

Grilled Pumpkin Granola

With Pecans And Maple Syrup

Posted on October 22, 2014
It's that time of year again. The time of year when everything is Pumpkin Spiced somehow. From your morning coffee to your burrito it seems. So I decided to give pumpkin a chance, and hopped on the bandwagon, making Grilled Pumpkin Granola. This granola isn't overly sweet but packs a great crunch, satisfying your morning hunger until lunch time. With all those seeds and nuts, you get a great protein punch that's also full of fibre and healthy oils. And you made it on the grill!

Roasted Garlic Alfredo

Roasted Garlic Alfredo

Creamy Pasta For A Meatless Monday

Posted on May 05, 2014
Roasted Garlic Alfredo is a lighter way to have a rich and creamy alfredo dish without the heavy cream. I lightened this meal up, but feel free to go nuts with the cream and such. I won’t judge. But remember to add some green veggies, or peppers, not only for colour but for some texture too.
